The PNC did WHAT?!

More than you think! In fact, here’s a few things the Professional Nursing Council (PNC) work on throughout the year—often under the radar—and other things they have helped AAMC achieve just recently:

• 10% discount at Kindercare Day Care for hospital employees, in collaboration with HR
• Select the Nurse Excellence Award winners
• Prepare and deliver lunches to the Lighthouse shelter
• Manage the DAISY Award
• Participate in Homeless Resource Day
• RN identification badge
• HOT card for employee recognition
• RN satisfaction survey unit champions

The PNC provides a dynamic forum for the advancement of nursing practice and service excellence by participating in the planning and decision-making process for professional nursing at AAMC. In simple terms, the PNC is the voice of nursing. 

We consist of a representative from each unit in the hospital who attends the monthly meeting and brings to the forum any issues or concerns their unit may have. Please contact your PNC Rep with any ideas for betterment on your unit or for any concerns. See a list of each unit’s rep below. We look forward to hearing from you.
