“The ultimate expression of generosity is not in giving of what you have, but in giving of who you are.” J.B. Cole

The Community Service Initiative hosted its annual Recognition Tea on October 24. More than 25 staff volunteers attended. Each year, hundreds of service hours are willingly given back to our community by AAMC’s nursing and ancillary healthcare personal. We thank you all!

Helena Hunter and Jane Lawrence from Seeds 4 Success were our guest speakers. In 2008, a group of women, seeing the need for more positive opportunities for young girls growing up in public housing, began the Eastport Girls Club. In 2011, they incorporated into Seeds 4 Success. Their mission: Guiding children living in Annapolis public and subsidized housing communities to be healthy, successful adults.

This initiative and each of its memebers helps to make a positive impact on our community. Interested in joining? Contact
