Suicide. It’s a patient safety issue we need to talk about

Suicide is the tenth leading cause of death in the United States. It is the second leading cause of death for ages 44 and under. Hospitals need to do a better job identifying and treating patients with suicidal ideation.

Join the Quality and Safety Department and our Mental Health Professionals on March 14, 2017 in the Doordan from 11:30am – 1:00pm to understand the crisis of suicide and the utilization of newly implemented screening tools and resources to assist our patients.

Suicide is a preventable public health problem; more investment in prevention and education can prevent thousands of untimely deaths each year. Please click here to see a full description of the program and registration information.
