SCU, Hackerman-Patz get “five stars out of four” from this thankful daughter
A patient’s daughter — a nurse from out of state — writes in to say thank you to the Special Care Unit (SCU), the Hackerman-Patz House, and everyone else who gave her mother such wonderful care…
Simply stated, thank you! My mom recently spent eight days in SCU. While she will not remember most of it, I will! The care and compassion of your staff, from nurses, physicians, PCTs, physical therapists, diet techs, cleaning services and cafeteria, was top notch superior! Outstanding! My mom’s stay was truly a great experience, despite her ill health, because of this comprehensive team of great employees. I am forever grateful.
I am an RN from another state — with high expectations (surprise, haha!). A little critical at times and quite opinionated. But you get five stars out of four. I am proud to represent a great profession and you should be proud that your hospital is amazing!
In addition, I must tell you that the Hackerman-Patz House was a blessing in disguise. From David Michaels meeting me after hours along with the amazing volunteer, I felt like I was returning home each night. I was able to rest, relax, and regain strength while staying close to the hospital. The love and comfort was beyond what I expected but what I needed. Thank you.
