Outpatient Infusion celebrates 100% Patient Sat score, thanks AAMC team

The Outpatient Infusion Center of the DeCesaris Cancer Institute, including our nurses, support staff, and our own special division of pharmacy, are very honored to be celebrating a 100% patient satisfaction score!Banner

When asked what helps us attain such a score, staff is quick to respond “teamwork!” We work well together, back up each other, and genuinely care for and like each other.

However, we couldn’t do what we do without the other teams we work with. Materials Management is constantly supplying us with disposables and finding us that odd needle we need. Biomed is very responsive in fixing our equipment. John Moore from Environmental Services is the King of Clean with his music and his mop — he keeps us all sparkling. The Security team is frequently lending us a helping hand when asked. The Valet dudes are always welcoming patients with a smile and starting their visit off on a good note. The Inpatient Pharmacy supports us with the occasional medication that we don’t normally stock. And of course, we can’t forget Tracy and Christina in Bedboard, who frequently accommodate us with the late afternoon “We need a bed” phone call.
