Nursing Survey

Thank you to the 150 nurses who have completed the research survey on healthcare staff’s perceptions during a COVID-19 pandemic. If you have not taken the survey, and currently work in an area caring for inpatients or ED patients, please take a few minutes to take this survey.

This study will examine the relationships among duty to care, stress, specific anxieties, and healthcare staff of your work environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your participation is important to us. We need to hear from you in order to have a better understanding of stressors during this time. This information will be used to develop recommendations for developing and cultivating a supportive environment for healthcare staff during future pandemics and catastrophic events that impact healthcare workers.

Your responses will be anonymous. All responses to the survey, including your demographic data will be collected in an anonymous way. There is no risk your responses can be linked to you. No personal identifiers will be collected.   All data will only be reported in summary form, no individual data will be reported.

Your participation is voluntary. At any time, you are free to decide not to participate by not completing or not submitting your responses. Exit the survey without clicking “submit”. Your completion and submission of the survey will serve as an indication of your consent to participate in this research study.

We understand that during this pandemic, your time is especially valuable and so we very much appreciate your wiliness to participate and share your perceptions. Please complete the survey by midnight Friday, May 8, 2020.
