Nursing Grand Rounds on April 25: The Patient Peer Mentor

Patient Peer Mentors are the newest members of our healthcare team. Formerly patients themselves, they have been trained to mentor and support those going through a similar diagnosis. Patient Peer Mentors collaborate with patients and their medical team, acting as positive role models — providing hope, encouragement and understanding.
