“My experience was wonderful.” Patient thanks ED & MSU Nurses, PCTs & Physicians, Nutrition staff, volunteers.
Love this team effort! To all involved in making this patient’s stay so wonderful, we thank you!
Last month I was admitted to AAMC after passing out in a store. I wanted to give you feedback on my experience. No one ever wants to go to a hospital because of the stories of staff being unprofessional or uncaring, inadequate facilities, poor food, and the feeling of being lost and not supported.
My experience at AAMC was wonderful. From the moment I entered the hospital in the Emergency Department, I was given the sense that I was getting great care and in good hands. Then I was admitted to a room on MSU.
All staff were fantastic. I wanted to give a shout-out to those who made my stay comfortable, secure and memorable. They were fantastic.
Thanks to RNs Dianne Wong, Erica Smith, Mary Gwyn, Mary Hall, Elena Scutaru, Katrina Martin and PCTs Nouran Zaharna, Merlin Zepeda, Cherrelle Body, Shauna Johnson, Vernice Adams and Kendal Joyce. The Hospitalists were excellent.
The food was good! Compliments to the kitchen staff. I even took a photo of one of the meals and tweeted it after I was home. My tweet asked where I had eaten that meal and someone guessed Boston Market.
Thank you, AAMC, for having a great facility staffed with great people. Even the volunteer service dog, Naval Academy midshipmen and volunteers were wonderful.
As one of the volunteers told me, you don’t want to be a good hospital, you want to be the best hospital… and AAMC is.
