Lights, camera… action! AAMC’s Nurses Week 2011 Video Challenge
Ready for some fun? Our second annual Nurses Week Video Challenge is underway. This year, the theme is patient- and family-centered care!
Lead your unit or department to create a video showcasing the ways that AAMC nurses demonstrate patient- and family-centered care.
Now for the challenge. You must include each of the following themes, either verbally or visually, somewhere in your video: 1) AAMC “lamp” (spatula, lacrosse stick…), 2) and a crab.
Be creative! The sky is the limit–past entries were remarkable–musical numbers, dance performances, and “day in the life” spoofs. A panel of judges will select the finalists, which will be shown at the Nurses Dinner during Nurses Week.
Guidelines:
-
Only staff can be in the video. No patients, visitors, or family members, please.
-
Videos cannot be longer than two minutes in length.
-
Submit your videos–saved on flashdrive or disk in a Windows Media Player format–to Jane Lucia in Nursing Admin by Monday, April 25
