Join the AAMC Komen Team

Please help support the AAMC Komen team as they Race for the Cure!
Interested in having fun, getting fit and showing support for our breast cancer survivors?
Then join the AAMC Team for the 18th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K. The 3.1-mile race will be held Sunday, Oct. 3 in Hunt Valley, Md., at 11350 McCormick Road. The run will begin at 8 a.m. and the walk will start at 8:30 a.m. A bus will be available to take AAMC participants to and from the race at no charge.
Every participating employee will receive a Komen T-shirt and be entered in a raffle for great prizes, including a $250 cash prize.
Don’t want to get up early or unable to join the race? Then support the cause with the “Sleep in for the Cure.” This option allows you to support Komen from the comfort of your own bed for a $35 donation.
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world, with well over one million participants since 2005. The Komen Race for the Cure Series raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.
