Generous donor helps us COPE

COPE smallCaregivers at AAMC are responsible for the sickest and most fragile among us. When critical events occur, our COPE (Compassion, Outreach, Peer, Encouragement) Team can help them work through some of the difficult feelings and emotions that often arise.

We know that it is vitally important for our staff to get the support they need during a difficult time. COPE donor, Betsey Morrison, couldn’t agree more.

“I feel like the godmother of COPE, as it certainly is one of the most enjoyable things that I have had the opportunity to be involved with in recent years,” she says.

Betsey’s generous gift provided funding for the initial crisis-intervention training, as well as continuing education for our COPE team.

Our heartfelt thanks to Betsey, who has helped enable our staff to continue to care for the hundreds of thousands of our friends, neighbors and loved ones in our community each year.    -Lisa Michelsen, Foundation
