Community Service Initiative seeking new members–apply here!

“Without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life. It’s important to the person who serves as well as the recipient.  It’s the way in which we ourselves grow and develop.” -Dorothy I. Height, former chair and president emerita of the National Council of Negro Women.

Volunteering and providing community service allows us to give to others—be it time, resources, or assistance with hands-on tasks. In return, we receive a sense of belonging, new friendships, and often, an appreciation for our own lives and circumstances.

Do you enjoy helping out in our community? Have you ever wished there was a way you could give back to needy families who live close by? Are you looking for service opportunities? Consider joining up with the Community Service Initiative (CSI).
