Cath Lab nurse Maryann Derdock climbs Mt. Kilimanjaro (yes, you read that right)

Maryann Derdock, RN, a nurse in our Cath Lab, has achieved something most people would only dream about: she has made the six day hike to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest free-standing mountain in the world (elevation 19,336 feet).

Look closely at this picture… it’s hard to tell at first, but what looks like only clouds in the background is actually Mount Kilimanjaro. Wow, that’s high.
