After stay in ICU and Oncology, patient’s wife writes, “the professionalism and care was exemplary”
A letter of thanks from a patient’s wife, acknowledging the interdisciplinary team — and the very special individuals — who made her husband’s recovery so successful.
My husband was a patient at AAMC twice this year. Both times he was a patient on the Intensive Care Unit and then the Oncology Unit. Regardless of where he was located, the professionalism and care was exemplary. Every nurse and PCT showed caring concern and a strong commitment to making sure he was comfortable.
Among the myriad of wonderful nurses that treated my husband, we would be remiss if we did not mention that Oncology nurse Rachael Bollinger, RN, is very deserving of special recognition. Her calm professionalism, quiet perseverance and encouragement to my husband was crucial to his recovery. Also, our thanks to Sheryl Simpson, PCT, on the Oncology Unit.
