Patient writes in to thank “caring and dedicated” Cardiac Rehab nurses and techs
A patient’s letter of recognition for our wonderful Cardiac Rehab Center…
Recently I underwent long and complicated valve and artery repair surgery at a nearby hospital. Two weeks later I enrolled in your Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Center, under the direction of Ms. Terri Harding, BSN, RN.
My initial view was this was another physical therapy program and I needed to get through it; what I found was a group of very dedicated nurses and technicians who were caring and dedicated to their profession.
Under Ms. Harding’s supervision, these marvelous professionals guided us through a long, tough rehabilitation program that was reformatted each session to meet the needs of each individual. I must say that there were numerous individuals, myself included, who questioned their own ability and desire to what was necessary to recover from heart surgery. However, the warm and cheerful environment that the staff has developed made it almost a pleasure to spend time with them.
Ms. Harding is to be congratulated for the program she has developed, but perhaps of more importance for the leadership she shows which in turn influences her staff to perform at a very high level. Each person I encountered was a professional.
Thank you for this service.
