Thousands of scholarship dollars to be awarded to AAMC Nurses in nursing school — apply here.

Established in 1990 as a memorial to Marlene Reiter, RN, a staff nurse at AAMC, the nursing scholarship program is designed to encourage and support AAMC employees who are currently enrolled in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Last year, the Foundation awarded 20 $5,000 scholarships!

To be eligible for a scholarship award, applicants must:

  • Work at AAMC for at least six months
  • Be in good standing, without disciplinary actions, written or above (i.e. poor attendance, substandard work appraisals, etc.)
  • Currently be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate nursing program or provide documentation of college acceptance and nursing program study plan.

Paper applications are available here and electronic applications are here. Please do not include PHI in your nomination. They must be received by Friday, February 16, 2018. Questions? Contact Gena Kosmides, RN, Clinical Education, at gkosmides@AAHS.org.
