The AAMC Farmers’ Market returns on June 1 — see what’s new
The AAMC Farmers Market returns Friday, June 1! Purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables every Friday through October 26 in the Southport between 10:30am-1:30pm. And while many things remain unchanged, we have some exciting new additions: farm fresh eggs, Providence Center and the agriculture box, which includes protein. See more details here.
Also, check out the Black Bottom Farm Collective, which participated in the AAMC farmers’ market last year. This year, Black Bottom has expanded from Kim’s pastured livestock and organically grown mushrooms and microgreens to include a group of about 20 other local like-minded farmers growing and making food that is good for the land, the animals, the farmer, and the consumer. The Collective operates in the sweet spot between a farmers’ market and a CSA. Unlike traditional CSA’s, there are no upfront costs or commitments and everything can be ordered a la carte. Working together with other small sustainable food makers also provides a wider variety of goods- from cold pressed juices, to all kinds of meat, to seafood, to eggs, mushrooms, ferments, vegetables, nut butters, and more!
Online ordering is open each week Friday morning through Sunday at midnight.
Orders are delivered to AAMC during the farmers’ market on Fridays, June 1-October 26, 10:30am-1:30pm, Pathways on Fridays at 2pm, and HCE Farmers Market, every other Thursday beginning on June 14. Other locations available in Annapolis and on the Eastern Shore.
