Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Week is September 20-26, 2015! Please join us is recognizing AAMC’s department of Clinical Education and Professional Development (CEPD) and our unit-based Clinical Educators for all they do to help our nurses grow professionally.
CEPD staff work closely with our nurses and other clinical staff, helping to ensure that our patients receive high quality, safe patient care that aligns with the latest evidence-based guidelines.
Unit- based Clinical Educators are intimately involved in our successful quality initiatives, such as Magnet® designation, research, evidence-based practice initiatives and Joint Commission accreditation.
Many of our CEPD staff have demonstrated their expertise in their specialty by becoming board certified in Nursing Professional Development – and unit-based Clinical Educators are required to be certified in their clinical specialty.
