Linette Iloh, an AAMC patient sitter and recent Nursing school graduate, on her path to Nursing

Doc1Linette Iloh, a patient sitter at AAMC who just graduated from Nursing school, originally intended to become a lawyer.  But when she became seriously ill at age 18, she met some special nurses who inspired her so much, she determined to change her path.

“It made me think of nurses different. I never thought that nurses impacted people’s lives like that,” Linette said. “I knew they provided care, but I didn’t know they provided emotional support. I wanted to give that feeling to somebody else in the future.”
