Celebrating AAMC’s PCTs who are advancing on the PCT Clinical Ladder

On September 6, AAMC honored the first 20 patient care technicians who have fulfilled requirements for advancement on the new PCT Clinical Ladder. During their time together, this group of techs met with Chief Nurse Barbara Jacobs and MSU Clinical Director, Justin Bowser, to share stories of the projects that they have been involved with on their units and in their community.

The range of their accomplishments is impressive, ranging from teaching educational sessions, organizing teambuilding events, collecting NDNQI data to be submitted for Magnet documentation, and volunteering in the community by serving the homeless. Each of the PCTs received a pin representing clinical excellence — and this group will soon be a part of designing a special t-shirt for techs completing their clinical ladder requirements!

The PCT Clinical Ladder is an excellent way for PCTs to be recognized for the fantastic work they do in our organization. We are so proud of our techs and fortunate to have them teaming up with other staff to provide excellent care for our patients and families.

Congratulations to these employees who are advancing on the PCT Clinical Ladder:
