A letter of thanks from an HVU patient’s family: “From triage to discharge, everyone was professional, excellent and kind.”

Receiving a handwritten note of thanks from a patient or their family is so special. In this case, a loving daughter took the time to say thank you to some of the staff who cared so well for their mother — and also noted her care “from triage to discharge” was excellent. Thank you to all involved — you are making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Dear AAMC, Thank you for the outstanding care your staff provided to our mom when she was recently hospitalized on the Heart and Vascular Unit. We especially appreciated HVU nurses Emily Cooper, RN, and Cheryl Lamon, RN, and techs Kristina Ciezobka, PCT, and Melissa Suskie, PCT.

Drs. Peters and O’Donnell were very timely and considerate as they clearly explained treatment options and administered procedures.

From triage to discharge, everyone was professional, excellent and kind.

There is no other hospital in the region where we would have wanted our mom to be treated. Thank you again.
