Recycle those old and broken electronics for free

What: An electronic-waste (e-waste) recycling event! Bring old or unwanted electronics to be recycled. 

Why: To celebrate America Recycles Day and AAMC’s being the first Maryland Hospital to have a LEED certified acute care tower! We are not just certified, we are LEED Gold Certified!

Who: Open to the community

Where: South Lot (Annapolis Exchange Parkway, off of Jennifer Road)

When: Saturday, Nov. 12, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. (rain or shine)

Electronics Allowed: Televisions, monitors, computers & their components, fax machines, printers, wire, video game consoles, cameras, VCRs & DVDs, telephone equipment, radios & stereos, and headphones

Please remove prior to collection: light bulbs, hazardous liquids (i.e. refrigerant fluid in an air conditioners must be drained prior to collection)

    Unfortunately the E-waste event can not accept your CFL light bulbs. So where can you disopose of them?
    – Anne Arundel County Hazardous Waste events
    – Home Depot (on-going collection)
    – Ikea (on-going collection)
