Patient thanks ED, HVU and Cardiac Rehab for “positive, friendly, patient-oriented” care
I write this short note to thank AAMC staff for excellent care during my recent hospitalization on HVU with atrial fibrillation and later with acute myocardial infarction with placement of cardiac stent.
On both occasions, on admission through the Emergency Department, the staff was highly organized, efficient and portrayed a very calming and relaxed manner in the care rendered. Thanks to their professionalism and the attending emergency physicians, I was left with minor permanent cardiac damage.
I am now attending the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation clinic and must extend my same observations to all personnel there; their training, professionalism, friendly and confident demeanor and friendly management of each individual patient under their care is obvious.
As I observed the staff interact with their patients, a very relaxed interrelation prevails and the patients seem to approach their rehabilitation exercises with a positive attitude.
It is indeed a pleasure to observe the positive, friendly, patient-oriented skills practiced throughout the hospital.
