Need a massage? Come to work!

hand_massageI walk the halls and hear all  that people are saying about the care they receive here at AAMC: “My nurse stayed a half hour past her shift to make sure I got back into bed and was comfortable.” “They have the best nurses here at AAMC.” “The care I received was phenomenal!”

It is widely known that we render the best patient care here at AAMC. Letters of thanks, HOT Cards and verbal testimony all prove this. But what about you – the caregiver? We want to make sure that you are taken care of as well!

The Care of the Caregiver Initiative is delighted to be able to give some TLC and much needed relaxation to our nurses. On the following dates, massage therapists will be visiting your unit to give 10 minute neck or hand massages:

Saturday, Nov. 2, 8am-12noon
Monday, Nov. 11, 8pm-12midnight
Friday, Nov. 15, 1pm-5pm

Please don’t forget Outpatient Infusion Staff. We don’t want our staff to miss out on this opportunity. We aren’t able to leave the unit but our nurses/staff sure deserve to be included in this one!

    Thanks.

Please don’t forget Edward’s Surgical Pavilion – we have some awesome staff here and we are not able to leave the department to be involved in a lot of the extracurricular activities that go on in the main hospital.

This says, “to give some TLC and much needed relaxation to our nurses.” Does that mean the massages are ONLY for nurses?

The massages are for all staff – not just nurses !
