 Energize Movement Challenge: Oct. 24 – Nov. 30

Baby Phat. Critical Phosphorus. ESP Divas. Ladies of the Night. Team FitER. Muffin Tops. Sticky Whiskers?

No, these aren’t hot new music groups appearing on YouTube or MTV, they’re challenging teams made up of AAHS employees as part of the Energize Movement Challenge! Teams are forming now through Monday, Oct. 24 and you’re invited to join.

In this challenge, you’ll form teams of four to 10 employees and have fun seeing which team can log the most steps over a six-week period. You can log your minutes of other physical activities as well—they all count toward your team totals. This challenge is designed to help you incorporate more movement into your day—whether you’re a beginner or a marathoner.

All participants receive a FREE Energize pedometer, which you can pick up in the Wellness Office located in the Sajak Pavilion, Suite 250. First, second and third place teams with the  highest AVERAGE based on the activity of each team member will receive…

fabulous prizes. In addition to fun weekly prizes, the following Team prizes will also be awarded which should come in handy for the holidays:

  1. $75 VISA gift card and unlimited attendance in Energize group classes for the month of December for each team member.

  2. $50 VISA gift card and unlimited attendance in Energize group classes for the month of December for each team member.

  3. $25 VISA gift card and unlimited attendance in Energize group classes for the month of December for each team member.

Step 1: Register. Visit aahs.org/energize and click on Movement Challenge. Use the keyword Energize to register, or log in if you did a previous Challenge.

Step 2: Enroll in the Movement Challenge and see the list of Teams. Either join a Team or create a new Team and ask your friends to join! Teams can be four to 10 people.

Step 3: Report Progress regularly during the Challenge. Log in and click “Report Progress,” then record your steps or minutes of physical activity.

Step 4: Share & Compare. Log in and see how your team stacks up against the other teams! Then, use the “Friends” feature to compare your progress with your friends and teammates.
