Arlette Arjona-Cross, RN, sings national anthem at Nats game

The Star Spangled Banner is known to be one of the most difficult songs to sing well, but one of our very own made it look easy — even with the added stress of a stadium full of Nationals’ fans.

On May 10, Prep Team nurse Arlette Arjona-Cross performed at the Washington Nationals/Chicago Cubs baseball game. She sang a perfect a capella version of the national anthem – fans were impressed by her poise and beautiful smile.

Way to go, Arlette! Thanks for representing both AAMC and our nursing profession in such a wonderful way. -Lynn Thomas, RN
