AAMC staff serve in our community during Homeless Resource Day

The 4th Annual Homeless Resource Day was held at Glen Burnie High School on Saturday, March 26. This event gives the homeless access to job counseling, medical and dental services, and even haircuts. About 90 agencies and organizations participated to serve approximately 500 clients–that’s about 100 more than last year.

AAMC was well represented by the Wellness department, Stanton Center and volunteer physicians and nurses–performing blood pressure screenings and intake on all recipients for the health services area.

Thanks to physicians Michael Clemmens, Betina Franceschini, Mike Freedman, and Latoya Smith and nurses Misa Ewing, Faye Anderson, Sharon Cameron, Glenda Schulz, Stephanie Porter, Rande Dent, Dawn Knebel, and Catherine (Cate) Atkinson for your commitment to our community. You made such an impact in the lives of so many people.

So proud to have AAMC part of Homeless Resource Day – reaching out to care for our most vulnerable members of society is part of the fabric of our Health System. Thank you.
