Joanne Ebner, BSN, RN, COHN-S is a Cancer Prevention nurse at AAMC. She was recently named the Coordinator of the Prevention and Early Detection Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS). She attended the ONS national conference in Boston and displayed a poster highlighting the SIGs work. Joanne’s article, Quitting Smoking: Is It Ever too late?”, was published in SIG’s online newsletter (and on our blog!)

Sue O’Connor, MSN, RN, OCN, Director Breast Center, presented a poster at the same conference at a moderated podium session entitled “Gear Up: A Preparedness Workshop for Breast Cancer Patients.”

Way to go, Joanne and Sue!
