Ever thought about becoming a nurse mentor? We’ll help train you! Sign up here.
Are you passionate about nursing? Would you like to help a new nurse grow? Learn effective communication techniques, how to embrace generational and personality differences, and the benefits of mentorship at AAMC.
The Nursing Mentorship program provides our nursing graduates with an opportunity to build relationships with more senior staff and ease the transition from the classroom to the professional world. It’s an essential part of their clinical and professional development.
We are always seeking to add Nurse Mentors to the program. If you have been a nurse for two years and have a passion for nursing, you are eligible. Maybe you had an amazing Nurse Mentor yourself… now you have an opportunity to do the same for someone else.
The new grads appreciate and adore their Mentors: “My mentor was awesome,” “Having a mentor was one of the best things about the Nurse Residency Program!” Once nurse blogged about it here: Mentorship from a new grad’s perspective: “I came to her after my bad days — and guess what I got in return?”
Our next Nursing Mentor Workshop will be Thursday, June 30 from 8-10 a.m. in the Belcher Pavilion, 7th Floor. To register for the workshop contact email@example.com.
